Sips & Slides: A Journey Through China

Join us on Friday, March 27 at 5:00 pm for an evening of wine, cheese, and adventure! Beth Israel member Nelson Kardos will take us on a fascinating visual journey through China, sharing photographs from his years working as a consultant to the Chinese pharmaceutical industry (1976–2003).
Through stunning images of Beijing, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Terra Cotta Army, rural villages, industrial centers, and remote regions once closed to foreigners, you’ll experience a side of China few outsiders have seen. Many of these scenes capture places and ways of life that no longer exist today.
Come schmooze, sip, and travel the world — no passport required!

Rabbi Jon will lead a meaningful and lively seder, followed by a delicious and traditional Passover meal.

Join us on Friday, April 17 at 5:15 pm for Shabbat Yeladim, a fun and engaging Shabbat program designed especially for families with children ages 7 and under (older siblings are welcome too!).
