Franklin Elementary Gift Drive

This year Beth Israel will once again be “adopting” kindergarten and pre-kindergarten students from Franklin Elementary! Please help us to grant the children their holiday wishes. You can choose a specific gift or donate by check or Venmo and we will select a gift in your name. All gifts must be delivered to Beth Israel by December 11th.

Hanukkah Havdalah Dinner

We will be having a joint Hanukkah Havdalah dinner with Beth Israel and Liberty Region BBYO on Saturday, December 9th at 6:00 pm! Join us for a delicious dairy meal with entree, salad, sides, and sufganiyot. We ask everyone to please bring your favorite menorah and 2 dozen homemade latkes to share. Together we will light our menorahs and sing Hanukkah songs together!

Email us at biccacct@gmail.com to RSVP by Wednesday, December 6th.

Praying for Israel

Our world has been shaken to the core with the ongoing events in Israel. Our prayers go out to all of the innocent Israelis and Palestinians who have been killed, injured, or who are missing since the horrific attack. As a synagogue and community, we need to continue to be strong for Israel, for the Jewish people, and for one another.

Exciting Religious School News

Thanks to Ed and Alice Margolis and the Chertok Family Scholarship Fund, religious school tuition has been reduced by up to 50% for Beth Israel members!

And to make our One Plus Wednesday program
more enjoyable for our students, we've organized the curriculum a bit differently for the coming year. Students will be an integral part of the experience while they explore topics that will engage them in learning and culminate in a hands-on project!
