BIC5 caring through action

Our Mission: To create a culture of caring, concern, compassion and commitment to social action.

Food Drive Begins.

As we get ready to begin the new Jewish year, it is a tradition to collect boxes and cans of food to be distributed to the local food pantries.  BIC5 needs your help.

Please bring a food item with you the next time you come to Beth Israel.

Donations are welcome all year, but we hope to complete our holiday food drive by September 15 so we can display our beautifully wrapped baskets during the holiday services.

Shabbat In the Park
Join us for a short Shabbat Service at Marsh Creek State Park
Bring a lawn chair, blanket, a dairy meal and drinks and join us for a short Shabbat service in the park.  Rabbi Jon will bring challah and grape juice.  (No alcohol is allowed in the park.)  Rabbi Jon will mark our location with a balloon, so look for the balloon to see where we will gather.    See you there!
